After a one day extension, there is now a one week extension to the current NFL CBA. It is better that there is a discussion between the two parties rather than having a lockout. The main topic of the negotiations is still the revenue and how they will be dispersed between the players and the owners. Albeit the specifics of the CBA are still ambiguous, NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith was very optimistic in his demeanor. The new deadline is March 11.
